Vertical reflections calculator

This app lets you to experiment with loudspeaker height. It gives you the angle off the speaker's own axis at which the first floor or ceiling reflection leaves the speaker – the angle you look up in a directivity plot, not the angle of incidence at the surface, which is its complement.

The calculator below calculates simple first specular reflections from loudspeaker to listener with adjustable speaker height, listener height, room height and listening distance.
